Last Friday night I was up late Etsy-ing for fabric deals. After falling for it so hard at Quilt Market, I was looking to get my hands on Parisville. So when I found a good deal, I snapped it up. That night I had a dream that my fabric bundle arrived, but instead of Parisville, it was batiks! Quel nightmare! I woke up in a cold sweat, fervently hoping that my dream would not come true.
The fabric arrived yesterday, and, thankfully, not a batik in sight.
Parisville has such a beautiful balance of lights and darks that I want to make a quilt that plays up color values. I think I have the perfect pattern already.
I’m going to call my version Evangeline at Versailles.
