summer picnic

Summer Picnic is a baby quilt made of scraps. The center blocks are string blocks. I made the backing solid this time instead of pieced because I love how this blue fabric looks. (It’s a Jennifer Paganelli fabric that I got on sale a few years ago before I started quilting. I think it’s called “Bridget.”)

I used a bright blue thread that coordinates with the backing fabric to quilt it.
