Lame-O
That’s me lately. A totally lame-o blogger. I have a gazillion things going on and I’m having a hard time keeping up with blogland. I’m prepping for the Urban Street Bazaar (countdown: 1 month to go!), working on some other to-be-revealed business ventures, keeping up with the Dallas Modern Quilt Guild presidential duties, working, wife-ing, dog mom-ing….We’re also once again in the midst of a remodeling effort that has made my house completely chaotic and filled with paint fumes. The fumes must also be the reason that I joined another bee! Insanity. I thought I was done with virtual bees but this one was too tempting to pass up. It’s called Ringo Pie and is made up of an amazingly talented group of crafty women. I was super flattered to be invited and I’m really looking forward to it. I just need to make it through the next 4 weeks and life should de-crazy a bit. Maybe.
In the last year or so I’ve become a serial over-committer. It’s really strange to find myself involved in so many activities and clubs. I’ve always been the type of person that never wanted to commit to dates or events because I knew that when the day came, I wouldn’t feel like going and I’d end up backing out. Now I wish there were more hours in a day because I just want to say yes to every invite and opportunity. It really says a lot about all of the wonderful people I have in my life. (You can find many of them here!)
Thanks for listening, blog friends. I promise next time there will be some quilty goodness.
